The Epic Games Store has three free games this week, two of which are AAA titles. These titles offer a ton of value for players who don’t mind their storefronts.
So far, the Epic Games Store has three free games on offer. These titles include Football Manager 2020, Watch Dogs 2, and Stick it to the Man. All three titles are something gamers love for sure.
Get Football Manager 2020, Watch Dogs 2 for free
The EGS usually has a theme ongoing for their free offerings. Last week’s theme was “Western,” with Railway Empire and Where The Water Tastes Like Wine. Somehow this week, there’s no outright theme to their offers.
Football Manager 2020 is a great management simulation. It’s one of the annual sports titles out there that some people think has become bog standard. Even then, this version of the footie manager is among its best iterations.
The new Club Vision expands the player’s interaction with their board and roster. Players go straight into the action of making a successful football team. It’s worth getting the game for free, rather than a simple filler game that will catch cobwebs in the library.
Watch Dogs 2, on the other hand, is a much-publicized sequel to the first Watch Dogs. The game is fantastic, receiving much praise for being a great sequel title. It improved on the first game and corrected many of the issues of its predecessor.
While Watch Dogs 2 was buggy during its release, many of these issues received a patch over the years. Getting it for free now can help fans get started on the franchise. With Watch Dogs Legion on the horizon, this is a must-play.
Stick It To The Man is a darkhorse hit
While people would surely love the first two offerings, there is a sleeper offer this week. The third free game from the Epic Games Store is Stick It To The Man. The title is a robust indie title that is worth a buy, more so getting for free.
Stick It To The Man is a comedy narrative puzzler. Its voice acting is not only praiseworthy, but the visual design is unique too. Its style feels like a mishmash of Psychonauts and Coraline, with all the quirks and weirdness to it.
“Meet Ray, he lives in a world where everything is made out of paper and stickers,” says its game description. “One day he has an accident and wakes up with a giant pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain. This gives him awesome powers, and he can suddenly change the world around him by folding it, tearing it, pulling stickers off and sticking them elsewhere! And if that weren’t enough, Ray can also read peoples minds!”
Stick It To The Man is a dark horse amidst two favorite AAA titles for people who don’t mind exploring indie titles. These games will stay free on the Epic Games Store until September 24, 11 PM.
